Earthing

For the same reason that we enjoy spending time in nature or at the park, or just sitting in the back yard, we can also use the natural environment to enhance our inner silence.

A very simple way to do this is to meditate using the same affirmations given above, using a portable media player to recite them for you, paying particular attention to the effect that physical contact with the earth has on your sense of balance and inner silence.

To further enhance the experience, wear clothes of natural fabric rather than synthetics. When sitting on the earth, try to orientate your pelvis so that the perineum (the area between your anus and genitals) is relatively flat against the ground. This is actually a hatha yoga position.

Sit comfortably for some time and observe the impact on the quality of your mental silence.
